A message from craftsman Knife Maker John Lawson...
“Over the last two decades, I have been creating traditional hand-crafted hunting and Bushcraft knives and leatherwork.
My relationship with this form of craftwork was influenced by my Father, who was a traditional blacksmith.
My formal education also led me down the engineering path as a toolmaker, and finally to running my own workshop as a Handmade Knife Maker.
After a brief break from knife making, my interest in the craft was renewed when I struck up a friendship with the legendary Stephen Wade Cox. I began to work with Steve on the Ray Mears Bushcraft knives, whilst undertaking my own commissions”
